PROSEPT Burs – Advanced Disinfection for Precision Instruments

PROSEPT Burs is a ready-to-use disinfecting solution for rotating dental, nail and surgical precision instruments such as diamond burs, carbide burs, polishers and instruments made of stainless steel, tungsten carbide, diamond grain, ceramic, polymer and silicone. The phenol- and aldehyde-free formulation contains corrosion inhibitors that significantly extend the life of instruments.

Composition and Shelf Life:

Each 100 grams of PROSEPT Burs contains 32 grams of isopropanol, 0.7 grams of 2-phenoxyethanol, 0.2 grams of quaternary ammonium compounds, corrosion inhibitors, auxiliary substances and water. With a shelf life of 36 months in an unopened container, PROSEPT Burs is a reliable solution for long-term use.

Ease of Use:

  • For your protection, wear an apron, gloves and safety glasses.
  • Immerse rotating instruments immediately in the disinfection solution after use.
  • Adhere to, but do not exceed, the specified contact period.
  • After disinfection, allow rotating instruments to air dry.
  • Do not rinse with water.
  • Visually check the instruments after disinfection for contaminants.
  • If necessary, remove contaminants with a brush and repeat the disinfection process.
  • Replace the working solution daily or in case of visible contamination.
  • The disinfection solution is also suitable for use in an ultrasonic cleaning unit.
  • Follow the recommendations of the instrument manufacturer.
  • Use only with alkaline and alcohol compatible instruments.
  • Not compatible with aluminium.
